EA shutting down Dragon Age Legends game on Facebook

Electronic Arts is canceling Dragon Age Legends, which launched on Facebook last year.

The publisher is removing BioWare's title next month in an effort to allocate space for future games of this type.

"EA and BioWare Social will be retiring Dragon Age Legends on June 18, 2012," a representative told Game Informer today. "Closing out older titles is a tough decision, but allows us to dedicate resources in the BioWare San Francisco and Sacramento studios on exciting new social RPG projects already in development."

EA promised to have more news on these proposed projects soon.
