EA temporarily shutting down Battlefield 3 online services tomorrow

In preparation for an upcoming patch, Electronic Arts is temporarily taking the Battlefield servers offline tomorrow, March 20 from 1 AM PST until 2 AM PST.

The one-hour window shouldn't disrupt your gaming too much, but the shutdown does affect servers for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The Battlefield 3 online multiplayer and the cross-platform Battlelog social services will be unavailable during this short period.

This June, players can enjoy the Battlefield 3: Close Quarters DLC pack, which was announced at GDC this year. The expansion features 10 new assignments and more.
