EA titles represent 40% of combined PS4 and Xbox One game sales in the West

Of all the Xbox One and PS4 games sold in the "Western World" in the fiscal fourth quarter ending March 31, 2014, 40 percent were EA titles.

EA revealed the impressive number today, adding that the company continues to be the number one publisher on PS4 and Xbox One consoles in the Western World thanks, in part, to games like FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, Madden NFL 25, and the recently released Titanfall.

“Electronic Arts delivered outstanding results in fiscal year 2014. Most importantly, we produced  hit games, innovative digital content and services, and amazing entertainment for our players  around the world,” said Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson. “It was a transformative year for  EA in a dynamic year for our industry, and I’m even more excited for the new experiences we  will deliver in fiscal year 2015 and beyond.”

For the fiscal fourth quarter, EA reported non-GAAP net revenue of $914 million, above the company's guidance of $800 million, but below the year-ago quarter's $1.04 billion.
