In the beginning of May, it was revealed that the sequel to Mirror's Edge would be making its release sometime between January and March of 2016. The game was initially revealed back in 2013, but has had a relatively quiet development process.
Electronic Arts has been working closely with the patent and trademark attorney firm J A Kemp for a "long time," and that long time has lead to a number of trademark filings in Europe. Now, this firm has filed for a trademark for Mirror's Edge Catalyst.
The trademark request was made through the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM). On top of that, the Mirror's Edge Twitter account tweeted the following:

It looks as though we have the name of Mirror's Edge 2 on our hands.
Mirror's Edge: Catalyst should be further detailed during E3 2015.
Thanks for the heads up, Gaf.
