EA Sports announced today the return of EA Trax to Madden NFL 16. For those unfamiliar, EA Trax is essentially a playlist of songs from both up-and-coming and mainstream artists that's played while you're in the game's menus. Though replaced in Madden NFL 13 with an orchestrated soundtrack, EA Trax will return in Madden 16.
And to celebrate, EA Sports has teamed up with Spotify to launch a new Madden NFL profile on the streaming music service. The profile launched today and features some of the greatest songs from previous editions of the Madden NFL franchise. You know, classics, like Good Charlotte's "The Anthem" and Bon Jovi's "Everyday." Let's not forget about Alien Ant Farm's "These Days."
Madden 16 will feature a soundtrack from "a multi-genre roster of soon-to-be-breakthrough artists and superstar acts," EA said, promising that the full list will be revealed this summer. In the meantime, take yourself back to yesteryear as you enjoy such hits like Jet's "Are You Gonna Be My Girl."
Damn, I'm old.
Madden NFL 16 launches on August 25th. Check out the long list of changes and new features that'll be in this year's Connected Franchise Mode.
