EA to Ninja the Competition a Day Before TGS

Last year at the Tokyo Game Show, Electronic Arts formally introduced their brand-new Japan division for the first time as the revealed Shonen Kininden Tsumuji, a Zelda-like puzzle based DS game starring a young ninja boy. Although the game was met with a cold reception in Japan when it was released, it appears that EA will be hosting their own event a day before TGS, called “Tokyo Showcase,” unveiling “several all new game reveals and announcements.”

Just as Square Enix is trying to break into Western Markets, it appears that our own video game giant is trying to break into the Land of the Rising Sun. While it remains to be seen on whether or not they’ll be successful in their endeavors, it’s a welcome site.
