It's no secret that the DC movies are widely hated. There are a lot of people who really enjoy them (more power to them) but there's also a lot of people who really despise them, like the overwhelming majority. Many have been anxious to see how the newest DC movie, Wonder Woman, would turn out due to the rocky history of the DCEU.
With just a couple weeks left, some early reactions have begun pouring in via social media. Critics got to see the movie last week and while they aren't allowed to post their full blown reviews, they're allowed to put out their reactions on social media. So, basically, just mini reviews saying it's good or bad with some other tidbits. The reactions are overwhelmingly positive, critics/fans REALLY enjoyed this movie which is very exciting for the rest of us who have to wait until June 2nd to see the movie.
People rave about the intense action, inspiring story about an empowering female hero, the performances from Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, and much more. You can check out a handful of reactions below.
Loved WONDER WOMAN. She reminds me of Christopher Reeve's Superman: true north superhero w/ no angst or cynicism, which is needed right now.

#WonderWoman is the best DCEU film so far. The heart of Gal Gadot's Diana powers it, and the shift from mythic into WWI story really works.

Happy to report 'Wonder Woman' is a blast and @GalGadot is fantastic. Her chemistry with Chris Pine is magnetic. Absolutely recommended. pic.twitter.com/VPW4QW3IhM

Very pleased to report that #WonderWoman is the best DC movie since THE DARK KNIGHT. I'm already looking forward to seeing it again.

It def has some problems and withers a bit in the 3rd act, but there's no doubt I'll be seeing it again.

There are certainly some issues, like a mismatched 3rd act, but I'll discuss that in a longer review. Overall though, Wonder Woman rules.

I can finally tell you.. Wonder Woman is a very good film. Funnier, more action packed than you're probably expecting. Gal is perfect as WW!
