El Shaddai Is Amazon’s Deal of the Day

It’s always cool to see a new game get a nice sale on Amazon. Like I’ve said before, sometimes the Deal of the Day promotion has some duds. But other times, there are a few notable titles that are worth checking out, and being able to purchase them while saving a few bucks is always great news.

The latest noteworthy addition to Amazon’s Video Games Deal of the Day is El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. You can currently snag a copy of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 title for $36.99. That’s a savings of $23 that can go to another purchase. And believe me, given the highly anticipated titles that are launching from now until the end of the year, you’re going to want to save as much cash as possible.

El Shaddai launched on consoles back in August, and it managed to receive plenty of critical acclaim. GameZone’s Mike Splechta awarded the game an impressive 8.5 score, making it a worthy title for most gamers. Aside from the enjoyable action gameplay, El Shaddai also boasts impressive aesthetics.

If you’ve been waiting on playing this game, now would be the time to check it out. At $36.99, you really can’t go wrong. Unless you like paying full price for games, in which case you can check back tomorrow.

This is small, simple and subtle mod that enhances Skryim's skies.

Improves the clouds for rain, snow, overcast, cloudy weather, horizon, mountains and distant clouds. In the ultra and high versions the resolution is double the vanilla resolution. This mostly translates to a jump from 512^2 to 1024^2. The exceptions are the distant clouds (from 1024×256 to 2048×512) and the mountain mists (from 256×2048 to 512×4096).

The clouds are also smoother than the vanilla version. This reduces the pixelation that's pretty visible when looking straight up.

Installation

As any texture file, simply unpack the .rar file and merge the data folder with the one in your Skyrim directory.

To uninstall, remove these files from the sky folder in Data/textures/sky:
