Frontier Developments has officially launched the second major expansion for the Elite Dangerous: Horizons expansion titled, The Engineers. The expansion releases in tandem with the largest free update (1.6) that Elite Dangerous has seen to date.
The Engineers unlocks a host of customization options that changes the way you fly, trade, explore and fight in the game. With bases on planet surfaces across the galaxy, each Engineer comes with a unique personality and back story, and for the right price, they just might hook you up with some custom weapons and mods.
Engineers allow players to o unlock powerful upgrades for their ships, and craft weapons with unique stats and exotic effects including inflicting damage through shields and repairing wingmen during dogfights.
