Elon Musk Accidentally Tweeted His Number, and He’s Apparently a God Of War Fan

On Tuesday, Elon Musk was browsing Twitter, but it wasn’t the casual event it usually is. The SpaceX CEO accidentally tweeted his cell phone number while assumedly trying to private message Oculus CTO John Carmack.

What was their conversation supposed to be about? We’re not sure. But we do know that his ringtone (or possibly his voicemail greeting) is a message recorded by God of War creator David Jaffe. The message isn’t a personal message only for Musk’s use however, it was originally an Easter egg in God of War that you can find by calling a hidden phone number in-game. It’s a conversation between David Jaffe and the protagonist Kratos.

“By the Gods, you’ve done it,” the message says. “Somehow you’ve found your way here to me. I offer you my congratulations and my respect.”

Check out the recording here, or call the original line at 1-800-613-8840. You could also call Mr. Musk yourself, but good luck with that. He’s probably already changed his number.
