Elton John has officially been cast in Kingsman: The Golden Circle

The much anticipated sequel to 2015's Kingsman: The Secret Service has just added the legendary Elton John to its ranks.

Ever since the smashing success of Kingsman, rumors about the sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, have had everyone buzzing. Most recently, it was announced that the likes of Channing Tatum would be joining the cast of the action-comedy along with Halle Berry and Julianna Moore, most likely in a role geared towards the supposed American counterpart to the Kingman spy organization, the Statesman.

It was also rumored that famous singer/song-writer, Elton John, was in talks to join the cast of the upcoming sequel. Earlier today, the Kingsman twitter page confirmed the rumors to be true and that he is now officially a part of the project:

An official synopsis has yet to be released, but the movie stars Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, Channing Tatum, and Elton John.
