Empire Magazine has released the latest image of Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft in the upcoming 'Tomb Raider' reboot.
After the highly successful release of 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' on consoles and PC, it came as no surprise when a live-action movie featuring a young Lara Croft was greenlight, highlighting the young explorer's formidable years, as it was in the game. We have yet to see a full trailer for the upcoming adventure, but images of Alicia Vikander as the leading lady herself have been surfacing since the film went into production.
Recently, Empire Magazine released the latest image of the actress on the set. There's not much to the image, but you can see Croft in full survival mode brandishing a bow and arrow, covered in dirt and blood:
Lara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she finds herself on the island where her father disappeared.
The movie stars Alicia Vikander, Hannah John-Kamen, Walton Goggins, Dominic West, Daniel Wu, and Alexandre Willaume.
Tomb Raider releases March 16, 2018!
