English and Japanese Voices Confirmed for Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Continuing what seems to be all the rage in Japanese fighting games nowadays, Capcom has confirmed today that fans will have the option to select between Japanese and English voice-overs for select Capcom characters.

This news comes from the Capcom Comic-Con preview stream they hosted where it was mentioned. Continuing what Capcom did in Street Fighter IV, you’ll be able to select individual voices for each character. Now of course, you won’t be able to choose any Japanese voices for the Marvel characters and this news only applies to the Capcom fighters.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is an explosive showdown between the heroes of the Capcom universe and the superheroes of the Marvel universe. Fill the shoes of legendary characters from both the Marvel and Capcom Universes — including massively popular characters such as Ryu, Wolverine, Iron Man, and Morrigan, as well as fan favorites such as Trish from Devil May Cry and the wise-cracking Deadpool. The game is expected to hit store shelves sometime in the second quarter of 2011.
