Enhanced Cthulhu Saves the World for PC, 360 Needs Funding

It’s no secret that many indie developers suffer due to lack of funds. The latest victim to hit a roadblock is Zeboyd, the developer behind the popular retro-style RPG Cthulhu Saves the World for Xbox 360. It turns out that a number of features, including an alternate mode, had to be left out of the game due to time and money constraints.

Zeboyd has set up a fundraiser to collect money so that the new features can be incorporated into the Xbox 360 version of the game, and to port the game over to the PC. Zeboyd’s goal is to raise $3,000 in pledges, and as of this writing, the company has 28 days to reach the desired amount.

If you’re into indie gaming and feel the need to show your support, check out the pledge site and drop a few coins if you’d like. Depending on the amount you donate, you could end up with one or more prizes such as having your name pop up during the game’s credits or even appearing as a townsperson in-game!
