Enjoy 25 minutes of Xenoblade Chronicles X gameplay footage

The official trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 3D released today and Nintendo didn't want to let it release alone, it came along with a look  at Xenoblade Chronicles X Wii U gameplay, resolution information and controller support.

Xenoblade Chronicles X won't have a story that pulls from  the Wii's Xenoblade Chronicles, regardless of it being a spiritual successor to the Wii game.

The game will support up to 32 players chatting together to trade information or items, but will only allow four players to quest together in online gameplay. The gameplay trailer shows off the game's setting, both urban and rural. It highlights monsters, character interaction and online multiplayer.

The Wii U's Xenoblade will not be running in 1080p, it will run at 720p and supports the Wii U Pro controller, as well as support off-tv play.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is set due to launch on April 29th in Japan.
