I feign no lack of lack of bias when it comes to Bloodborne. While not a ‘Souls’ game, it’s totally still a ‘Souls’ game; the look, the feel, the atmosphere, and – the music. Take Bloodborne’s ‘Cleric Beast’ track composed by Tsukasa Saitoh, This s@#$ nails the effect of being both eerie and beautiful at the same time. While listening, if you close your eyes you can feel the tension and severity of the situation. Granted, while you’re listening to this in game you’ll be slaying a giant hairy beast trying to murder your face off.
The mixture of full orchestra and chorus is no joke. While writing this piece, I’ve had the track on repeat and I’m still getting chills from it. We’re nearly at the one-month away point from Bloodborne's release, and the hype grows stronger in my blood each day. Check out the video playing above and give your ear-balls a darling treat.
