Every man cave needs a giant beer keyboard

Over there in Prague, there is a brewery perhaps you’ve heard of called Staropramen.  If you’re living in an awesome historic place like Prague and you’re a beer brewing company, why not become a sponsor for the Webstock 2012 conference?  Staropramen sponsored the folk at Robofun Create and their lovely lovely device – the Beer Keyboard.

This mammoth sized keyboard is equipped with 40 cans of Staropramen brew; which form the keys.  Each can has a letter or function on top so the user knows which can / key to press.  On the technical side of things, this keyboard was created with an Arduino board, capacitive condoler, and a Raspberry Pi.  I won’t pretend to know what all that means, what’s important is that when mixed together that they make a pretty freakin sweet beer keyboard.  Do yourself a favor and watch the video below.

At the end of the day, isn’t having a giant beer keyboard all that matters?
