Everybody's Gone to the Rapture was a divisive game, some loved it, some hated it and some refused to call it a game, preferring to call it a 'walking simulator." Whether or not you enjoyed the game, the developers who brought us the game are working on a new title.
The Chinese Room did not go into detail on the new game, simply saying that the game will not have a publisher and asked the community to voice their opinion on what type of merchandise to sell in their store supporting the game.
We're gearing up towards releasing info about our new game in the next couple of weeks.

With the bonus that because it's not signed to a publisher, we can be pretty open about development. Which raises the question…

The other cool thing is that we own the IP – so if you want t-shirts, special editions, vinyl, graphic novel, actual novel etc – let us know

Without a publisher, The Chinese Room won't be locked to one console like Everybody's Gone to the Rapture was tied to the PS4.
