Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture on PS4… no, not THAT Rapture

"This story begins with the end of the world."

That's all we really know about The Chinese Room's new PlayStation 4 game, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture.

Revealed today during Sony's Gamescom press conference, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is the spiritual successor to Dear Esther. The trailer didn't reveal too much, but the name, the apocalyptic setting, and the line itself sharply hint at a game that deals with… well, the end of the world.

As someone starved for more PlayStation 4 games, and obsessed with apocalyptic games, this game is definitely on my watch list. It doesn't yet have a release date, but we do know it will release on PlayStation 4.
