Everyone’s favorite character is returning to Game of Thrones in Season 6

Did you think I meant Jon Snow?

Game of Thrones fans will be happy to know that their favorite character, Bran Stark will return in Season 6.

Speaking to Irish Examiner, actor Isaac Hempstead Wright, who was gone and forgotten about in Season 5, confirmed his return next season.

"I can't say a lot, but I am back this season, and it's going to get particularly interesting with Bran," Wright said. "He has some interesting visions."

If you recall, we last left off with Bran, Hodor, and Meera having found the mysterious Three-Eyed Raven in the cave at the end of Season 4. All three were absent from Season 5 so that the show could catch up with their storyline in the books.

Previously, Game of Thrones showrunner David Benioff justified Bran's absence from the show as he develops his warg skills, similar to Luke Skywalker's jedi training with Yoda. “Like, it would be far less interesting, after The Empire Strikes Back to have an hour-long movie in between Empire and Return of the Jediwhere Luke is training,” Benioff said. “It’s so much cooler to cut from end of Empire to beginning of Return, where he’s become the Jedi."

Wright added that he's yet to watch the fifth season because he was busy with school, but did address the contested subject of Kit Harington returning to the show after Jon Snow's apparent death scene. "I don't know [if he will come back]. He's said he's not," Wright said.

Are you excited for Bran's return or would you rather it him have been in Jon Snow's place?
