Evolution Studios has posted another update on the status of Driveclub and the online issues that have plagued the game since launch.
As you're probably aware by now, the latest game update (version 1.04) has been released and is now available to download worldwide. Also, more servers and new upgrades are coming online "hour-by-hour," which should mean improvements to server connection and reliability for everyone. The developer also said that they will be bringing Face-offs back into play "soon," while warning that they are still periodically running essential diagnostics to help continue improving server performance.
"This may disrupt online play for you when you get connected," Evolution warns.
Sadly, Driveclub PS Plus Edition has still not been released, but he good news is that Evolution at least acknowledged the free PS Plus version in today's update — and it's hopefully coming soon.
"We are still also working hard to get the PS Plus Edition of Driveclub out as soon as possible and hope to update you on this soon," Evolution said.
Driveclub PS Plus Edition, the free, slightly stripped-down version of the racing game, was supposed to launch at the same time as the full retail version; however, server issues at launch caused a delay in the free version, meaning PS Plus members have had to wait to download it from the PlayStation Store.
