Exclusive: Watch the brand new gameplay trailer for KYN

GameZone has obtained a brand new, exclusive gameplay trailer for Versus Evil's intriguing action role-playing game, KYN.

Developed by Tangrin Entertainment, KYN is described as "a fast-paced role-playing strategy game that combines party-based combat with exploration and progression" as you explore a world where Viking mythology collides with magic.

Today's exclusive video is just a taste of the challenges that await in this "Viking-themed adventure game as you unravel an unexpected story that will keep you guessing until the very end," Versus Evil teases.

In terms of specific gameplay mechanics, KYN makes use of the classic RPG dungeon crawling elements. You'll build a party of up to six playable characters, with each warrior capable of being outfitted with different equipment and specialized abilities to meet your needs in both combat and puzzle challenges. Combat is a mix of tactical RPG and hack-n-slash, requiring you to take full advantage of your environment — setting traps, defending areas, and flanking opponents.

KYN is set to release for PC (Mac/Linux) on July 28th, but is already available for pre-order. Should you pre-order the game, you'll get the exclusive Legendary Fire Master Set for free.

"Fuel the fear in your enemies with this flame-buoyant ‘Legendary Fire Master Pack’. This pack includes a full body armor set with chest guard and leg armor as well as a protective helmet with visor that can be equipped once your body stat reaches 20.  Also included is the powerful ‘Eye of the Fire Axe’ that deals extra fire and weapon damage as well as gives you extra attack speed.  This two handed axe can be equipped once your body stat has reached 45."
