F1 2016 gameplay trailer shows some impressive visuals

With the release of F1 2016 coming up quickly this August, Codemasters released a brand new trailer showing off some new gameplay. It takes place on the seat in Max Verstappen's and let's you go on a flying lap in his signature Red Bull car. As you can see in the trailer, some of the background graphics in the cloud and sunset look impressive, but the audio had me a bit surprised.

The downshifting in the video sounds extremely generic and nothing like an actual F1 car. As we noted in our review for F1 2015, there were some things missing that made the game play a little "off" and this audio in downshifting could be another example in F1 2016. F1 2015 was still an excellent racing game as we said it was Codemasters' best F1 rendition to date at the time, so hopefully F1 2016 can continue the trend.

There is also going to be an all new, decade long career mode, a safety car and more. Let us know what you think below as F1 2016 releases August 19th on Xbox One, PS4 and PC
