It looks like Crunchyroll snatches up two more winter anime to their collection. Both Fafner Exodus and Koufuku Graffiti who just recently aired their first episode in Japan, will be coming to Crunchroll at a still undetermined date. Everyone can use a bit more mech in their life and if there is such thing as too many animes from Shaft – I don’t want to live in that world.
Fafner Exodus takes place two years after the end of the first attack on the festums. What starts out as the quiet isolated islands of Tatsumiyajima ends up becoming the location which determines the fate of all mankind. The center of all this fighting is the robot Fafner that guards the final treasure of mankind (trailer above).
With far less mechs and violence, comes the cooking based anime Koufuku Graffiti (Gourmet Girl Graffiti). The junior high student, Ryo Machiko, lives on her own and loves to cook. Since her grandmother has died, food just hasn’t tasted the same. It takes her cousin and friend to remind her the joys of taste again.
While both these animes have premiered in Japan, they have yet to premier on Crunchyroll. Neither of their hard dates to start broadcasting have been set. Keep an eye out for updates for those dates!
