Microsoft confirmed today that Fallout 3 will officially be backwards compatible on Xbox One next week. What this means is that anyone who pre-ordered Fallout 4 for Xbox One will finally be able to play its predecessor on the system "after November 12 when Xbox One Backward Compatibility becomes available."
Microsoft previously announced that The New Xbox One Experience, complete with backwards compatibility functionality, will officially roll out to all Xbox One owners on Thursday, November 12th.
Fallout 3 is just one of the many games that will be backwards compatible when the feature rolls out next week. Microsoft plans on revealing the list of the first 100 backwards compatible games on November 9th. All of these games will be playable on Xbox One on November 12th.
What other Xbox 360 games are you hoping to see make the initial backwards compatibility list?
