Fallout 4 officially released today, and while we won't have mods until sometime next year, we at least have a list of PC commands you can input to manipulate some of the game's systems. I guess you can consider them "cheats" — if that's still a thing — as inputting the following commands into Fallout 4's in-game console can turn the deadly wasteland into your playground.
From "God" mode to no collision to increasing specific stats on your character (like carry weight!), you can adjust a number of the game's settings by simply inputting the appropriate command.
To unlock Fallout 4's command console, which lets you mess with the game logic, simpy press the tilde (~) key. If that doesn't work, try the apostrophe key (')
Once the command console is activated, simply type the command you want, press enter, and close the console again. Commands are as follows (note: the community will undoubtedly discover more as time goes on. If you know of any we missed, put it down in the comments and we'll be sure to update the list):
tgm — God Mode (invincibility)
tcl — No collision. Walk through walls or into the sky
tai — Turns AI off
tcai — Turns combat AI off
killall — Kills everyone in the vicinity. Companions and other characters deemed too vital to die will become injured ont he ground until you give them a stimpack
kill [insert ID] — Kills the creature with the ID you supply
resurrect [insert ID] — Brings the creature with the ID back to life
setgs fJumpHeightMin [insert number here] — Modifies your jump
player.setav speedmult [insert number here] — Adds multiplier to your run speed
tfc — Activates flycam
tm — Toggles menus and UI on and off (warning: this will prevent you from seeing the console, so you'll have to press tilde and tm to bring back the UI)
setscale [number from 1 to 10] — Makes you or your target bigger or smaller
sexchange — Change the gender of the character
player/additem 0000000f [insert number here] — Adds bottlecaps equal to the number you specify.
player/additem 0000000a [insert number here] — Adds bobbypins equal to the number you enter.
player.additem [insert item ID here] [insert number here] — Adds items equal to the number you enter
coc qasmoke — Teleports you to a room with a number of boxes that contain every single item in the game. This is a good way to learn item IDs. To find an item ID, enter the console and click on the item in the game.
set timescale to [insert number here] — Speeds up or slows down time. The default setting is 16. 1 is realtime.
tdetect — The AI won't detect you.
player.modav [skill] [number] — Boost a skill by a numerical amount of your choosing
player.setlevel [insert number] — Boost your level to the number entered.
caqs — Completes every step of the primary quest. Will spoil the game for you.
