Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 4 mods created on PC will also be playable in the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
Speaking during a Fallout 4 presentation at E3 2015, game director Todd Howard clarified the confusion surrounding mod support on consoles after it was revealed during Microsoft's E3 press conference that mods will be playable on Xbox One, with no mention of PS4. Howard confirmed that mods will be available on PS4, but added that the timetable for their arrival "is fuzzy." That's because Betheda and Microsoft initially worked together to bring Fallout 4 mods to Xbox One.
So while we don't know when Fallout 4's PC mods will be playable on PS4, we at least know Sony fans aren't being completely left out.
Howard also announced during the presentation that the Fallout 4 Creation Kit, a suite of mod tools for the upcoming post-apocalyptic RPG, will be available on PC in early 2016. Fallout 4 is set to release on November 10, 2015.
