Fallout 4 PC requirements announced

Fallout 4 is just over a month away! It will be available on Xbox One and Playstation 4, but PC gamers will be pleased to know that Bethesda has revealed the PC requirements for the game. This, coupled with the extensive modability of past Bethesda games should cause PC gamers take note of the hardware requirements of Fallout 4.

·       8 GB RAM

·       30 GB free HDD space

·       NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent

These specs are guaranteed to run the game. However, as any PC gamer knows, performance is on a scale when it comes to PC. There are also recommended specs to run the game at top quality:

In regards to consoles, 28-35 GB of space is required, depending on the language of the copy purchased. For instance, North American copies support English and French voice/text. However, the global range of languages include English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Japanese voices.

Fallout 4 includes plug & play features for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 controllers. No announcement on plug & play features for the Steam Controller (due out on the same day) but the timing leads to speculation of compatibility.

Lastly, Fallout 4 will be released on November 10th at 12:01 EST for America and 12:01 am for local times in other countries. Pre-loading for Steam is likely, as per past Bethesda releases.
