When Bethesda further detailed their post-content DLC plans for Fallout 4, it was revealed that the Season Pass would be increasing in price on March 1st. Up until the beginning of March the Season Pass was available for $29.99, after March began the pass jumped up to $49.99.
Thanks to a discount on NewEgg, you can grab the Season Pass for the Xbox One at the original price of $29.99. The Season Pass is limited to two passes per customer.
Why the price hike? The raised price reflects Bethesda's plans on bringing more than the three planned sets of DLC: Automatron, Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbor. Bethesda has yet to reveal what the future add-ons entail, but thed developers have detailed that the Season Pass will ultimately be worth "more than $60 worth of new Fallout adventures and features throughout 2016."
