Fallout 4 has sold nearly two million digital units within its first three days, SuperData confirms.
The statistics were recently released by GamesIndustry, stating specifically that Fallout 4 had sold 1.87 million copies across the opening three days – which reportedly equates to around $1million in revenue.
PC took up the majority of digital copies, tallying a total of 1.2 million digital units, with many gamers purchasing the title through Steam.
This new data comes just a day after the game's developer, Bethesda, announced record-setting sales for Fallout 4. The title is believed to have not only sold over 12 million copies, but generated over $750 million in sales – an astonishing feat for the newly-released RPG.
The reaction to the game's release has been met with a pretty mixed response but the consensus seems to be more positive than negative, judging by our recent review round-up.
