Fallout 4 tops Fallout: New Vegas week one sales by more than 200%

Following Bethesda's announcement that Fallout 4 had shipped 12 million units worldwide at launch, it has been revealed that the massive open-world action-RPG has become the third biggest launch of 2015 in the UK.

According to data from GfK Chart-Track (via MCV), Fallout 4 has sold more than 500,000 copies in the UK, generating more than £24m in revenue, not counting digital sales via Steam, PSN, or Xbox LIVE. With that, Fallout 4 is now the 18th all-time fastest-sellig game in terms of units in the UK.

Comparitively, Fallout 4's first week sales in the UK beat Fallout: New Vegas by a whopping 213 percent, according to Chart-Track.

And it's not just physical sales either. According to SuperData, Fallout 4 also sold 1.87 million digital copies across the opening three days.
