If you have been playing Fallout: New Vegas in preparation of Fallout 4, there's good news! The modding community has been hard at work bringing together Fallout: The Frontier, a mod that brings a new area, gameplay and more!
The Frontier is set in an open world that is 16 km by 16 km, set in snowy Portland, Oregon. The team developing the mod has said that weather will play a major role in Frontier.
The mod is more of an expansion for New Vegas, as it is bigger than your average DLC; the team considers it an expansion. Frontier will bring new Vaults and will highlight the Legion, NCR and the Scavengers Factions, with The Enclave and Brotherhood possibly playing a small role. The mod will bring new custom assets for armor, weapons, and buildings, Frostfall effects, custom emitters fx, volumetric sky clouds, and much more to the game, so its worth checking out!
The mod is around 36% complete and will require New Vegas, as well as the four official DLCs. Get more information on it here.
