Fallout Shelter blows past the 100 million active user mark, in-game rewards incoming

If it is remembered for anything, Fallout Shelter should forever go down in history as the biggest and best E3 reveal for a mobile game of all time. Coming hot on the heels of the insane Fallout 4 reveal back at E3 2015, Fallout Shelter has grown to be one of the biggest mobile games on the market, and in a new post on the Beth Blog, is now home to over 100 million active users.

Bethesda is celebrating the landmark occasion with an in-game 5-day giveaway, which actually began yesterday. By logging in every day, players can receive daily rewards that will add up to $10 of in-game loot. These items will include Lunchboxes, Nuka-Cola Quantum, and special survival items to help to navigate the Wasteland easier.

Bethesda also shared some pretty staggering numbers, headlined by the fact that the game has been played across 7.5 billion individual play sessions for 385 million hours. You can check out all of the details in the infographic (courtesy of Bethesda) below.

Fallout Shelter is available now free-to-play on Android, iOS, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
