Fallout Shelter will be hitting Xbox One and Windows 10 next week

Keep your denizens happy and busy while not playing Fallout 4

Oh man. Remember that epic Fallout 4 showcase right before E3 2015? In the midst of all the Fallout 4 goodness, Bethesda figured out how to get everyone excited about a little mobile game called Fallout Shelter without it detracting from the star attraction. I swear, I've never been more hyped for a mobile game in my life. Well, now that same mobile game is about to hit Xbox Live and Windows 10 as an Xbox Play Anywhere title.

A new post on the Xbox News website revealing the game will hit both platforms next week on February 7th. Fallout Shelter casts you in the role of an Overseer in charge of building up a vault made up of denizens you bring in from the Wasteland.

Since its original launch, Bethesda has continued to support the game with a ton of updates bringing new content and mechanics such as the ability to send your Dwellers out into various dungeons to uncover loot and battle the monsters that inhabit the land.

It goes without saying that as an Xbox Play Anywhere game, you will have access to cross-saves and achievements can be unlocked on both platforms. Fallout Shelter is a free-to-play game and will continue to be when it releases next week.
