Fallout: Wasteland Warfare brings is a Power Armor, Super Mutants and Deathclaws to your tabletop

Wastelanders, Power Armor, Super Mutants and Deathclaws!

Bethesda has done great things with the Fallout series. Many may not know, but Fallout was originally a game by Interplay, later bought by Bethesda and treated as well as fans of a series can treat an IP. The Interplay games were great, but their recognition was waning in the early 2000's. Fast forward to today, and you've got one of the biggest franchises out there, and now it's getting a tabletop miniatures game.

Fallout: Wasteland Warfare is an all-new system built with the approval of Bethesda, created Modiphius. It's possible to play it against friends, co-op or even alone.

Tabletop games are actually quite popular in the hobby store market with games like Warhammer, Warhammer 40k and Star Wars: Imperial Assault to name a few. A personal favorite is the Star Wars: X-Wing, which pits various Star Wars ships against each other.

Fallout: Wasteland Warfare seems to resemble Imperial Assault, which is an on-foot, almost board game vibe. Imperial Assault also allowed for multiple types of gameplay, like Fallout: Wasteland Warfare promises.

The full announcement is coming this week. Modiphius has made several licensed games, including projects based on Conan, Kung Fu Panda and  Star Trek.
