Fan-made ‘Captain Planet’ trailer makes us want a live-action movie

If you were a kid of the early 90s, odds are you watched Captain Planet at one point or another. I was born in '84, so I was seven when Captain Planet and the Planeteers. It was a goofy show, sure, but it was a cartoon and we loved it. The live-action movie rumor has popped up occasionally, but nothing even close to serious has been discusses.

And then this fan-made trailer for a live-action Captain Planet popped up. Posted to the Altermotion Media Entertainment YouTube channel, the video is produced by Noah Baron, Matt Kohler and Robert Santiago, and is directed by Jay Diaz. The fan-made video has the tagline: "After 10 years of being apart, the Planeteers must reunite once again."

Yea, one of the Planeteers has a drinking problem. And Heart is still, how do we say this…. weak, but the video is awesome and makes us want to see a real movie happen.
