Fan made Mega Man game released for free

Hopefully Capcom will be too distracted playing the Mighty No. 9 demo to notice the fan made Mega Man: Super Fighting Robot.

The game was created in homage to the 8bit classic by Matthew St. George and took two years of effort. It’s also now available for all for free right here. Mega Man: SFR is a great little slice of nostalgia with all the same charm as the original games. Everything from the music to the animations and mechanics are pretty spot on and impressive for someone working on their own to make it happen.

The creator is also issuing tips via the game’s official Facebook page as well as announcing ongoing updates.
