Thai computer art student Weerawan Mapithak is a particularly involved Overwatch fan. So much so that she designed an original hero she named Tara for a project she's working on for her Master's degree. It was originally posted on the official Overwatch forums.

Not only did Mapithak design Tara's looks, but she went and made entire pages of concept art and even background information. Tara is a 27-year-old Marine conservationist from Thailand, which really fits in with Blizzard's diversity initiative. Her design is based on the betta fish and she would fill the role of the support class. Mapithak even drew up designs for a map to go along with Tara.
