I'm sure anyone who dropped $100 on the Floyd Mayweather / Manny Pacquiao "fight" on Saturday night will agree it wasn't much of a fight at all. The Fight of the Century" turn out to be the "Disappointment of the Century" as Mayweather danced around the ring for 12 rounds, occasionally throwing a jab in Pacquiao's direction.
Sure, hardcore boxing fans who appreciate Mayweather's "style" of fighting will call it a work of art. I, along with millions of others, call it boring. Thanks to boxing's archaic scoring system though, Mayweather won the fight by unanimous decision, despite showing little offensive prowess.
Point being, the whole fight was completely ridiculous, and the only good thing to come out of this match was a fan's hilarious recreation of it using the 1987 NES classic Mike Tyson's Punch-Out.
YouTuber "Noober Goober Gaming" not only perfectly recreated the fight, but also added in all the ridiculous terms that had to be agreed upon to make it happen.
And you know what? It's more entertaining than the actual fight was.
