Fans petition to bring Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD to PC

When Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD was announced as a downloadable game for Xbox 360 and PS3, many PC gamers wondered if the game would port to PC.  Now, with Robomodo confirming that there are no plans to bring the game to PC, fans have began an online petition.

Made public by the new THPSX twitter account, PC users have banded together to form an online petition.

The online petition to bring Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD to PC, which can be found here, has a formal "Why this is important" section which contains the following:

"We, as PC gamers, feel that a significant amount of the audience is being alienated from being able to enjoy the upcoming release 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD'. In the past, the Tony Hawk video game series saw success in releasing titles on the PC platform, and we feel that the same could be said for THPSHD. We simply ask that developer Robomodo, publisher Activision, Tony Hawk and any other affiliated parties consider the possibility of releasing a PC version of the game through Steam or any other viable digital platform."

Obviously, the PC community is an important aspect of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater franchise – with a huge modding community for past games.

Currently, the petition has 23 signatures out of the 301 goal.  To sign the petition, visit this site.
