Ubisoft today announced the PC specifications and requirements for Far Cry 3. They revealed three separate sets of specs for a vast array of machines, so hopefully yours meets one of them. If not, there is still time to upgrade as Far Cry 3 isn't due out on PC until December 4, 2012 in North America.
In addition to the PC specs, Ubisoft also revealed the protection details for the game, which I'm sure many of you are concerned about. Far Cry 3 will require a one-time activation via Uplay PC. Obviously internet connection will be required to perform this process. Once activated, the game can be played online to enjoy the social features in both single player and multiplayer, such as Friends, Party and Chat, or switched to offline mode in the Uplay PC settings menu for a single player experience without broadband connection.
Below are the three sets of specs to offer an optimal Far Cry 3 experience depending on your rig.
