Far Cry 3’s insanity spreads to Minecraft

For those of you into Minecraft mods, you may want to check out Ubisoft's upcoming mod and texture pack. Inspired by the Far Cry 3 universe, the free pack allows you to "explore and survive" through the warped lens of Far Cry 3.

The pack will modify all aspects of the original game, including environments, weapons, and tools. You'll discover Far Cry 3 locations and run into blocky recreations of the characters themselves. I know we've already met Vaas and Citra, but what about blocky Vaas and Citra? Let's hope the change of shape has changed their personalities. Additionally, the map features over 50 Easter Eggs hidden throughout the Islands.

The Far Cry 3 map will be released for free on PC via the Far Cry official website on October 26, 2012. As for the real Far Cry game, you can expect that on December 4, 2012.
