Far Cry 4 available for $29.99 across all platforms

Amazon has slashed the price of Far Cry 4 in half. For the next 15 hours you can snag it for $29.99 thanks to the game being selected for the Gold Box Deal of the Day. The reduction in price is not limited to one console nor is it limited to digital downloads or physical copies.

If you haven't dipped into the series before, no problem. There's no need to have played the previous games to understand Far Cry 4. The game features drop in co-op, so you and a friend can go on co-op designated missions and explore the open-world. There are tons of leopards, tigers, rhinos, black eagles, honey badgers, and elephants — some might be dangerous, some might be of use to you. Oh, and there are tons of crazy weapons and tools for you to use.

Simply put, Far Cry 4 is an amazing game. As we pointed out in our review, it keeps the features that made Far Cry 3 great and adds more on top for a refreshing thrill.

On a related note, Ubisoft just released its latest financial report, revealing better than expected sales thanks, in part, to Far Cry 4, Assassin's Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed Rogue. Sales aside, Far Cry 4 has received critical acclaim, and has been nominated for four BAFTA Game Awards (along with a number of other games): Artistic Achievement, Game Design, Music, Story and Performer.
