Far Cry 4 goes gold

Far Cry 4 has reached 'that point' in video game development. You know, the point where the game is done and it's still not out yet.

We have over two weeks of waiting, they couldn't even wait to finish it until next week (obviously they are looking to torture us with the waiting game).

In a post on the Ubisoft blog, members of Far Cry 4's development team looked back at what they achieved with statements like:

“When I look back at Far Cry 4’s development, I’m amazed at what the team pulled off” – Executive Producer Dan Hay.

"I’m proud of both the quality and the sheer volume in Far Cry 4.” – Executive Producer Dan Hay.

“Far Cry 4 will raise the bar for the series yet again.” – Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing Tony Key

It's almost like they don't know we will be waiting two weeks to see the game get into our greasy little hands. All joking aside, Far Cry 4 going gold means that it's even closer to launch and that's a good thing. The development team worked hard on it, hopefully the game will live up to player expectations (then exceed them).

Far Cry 4 will be hitting the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 18.
