Far Cry 5 Season Pass Brings Far Cry 3, Vietnam, Mars, and a Zombie Apocalypse

Remember Far Cry 3‘s Blood Dragon? It seems that Far Cry 5 might be following the same concept with its DLC as well.

Today, it was announced that Far Cry 5‘s Season Pass will feature three DLCs that include three different scenarios. While Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was an 80s throwback, Far Cry 5’s DLC theme seems to follow a 1950s comic book motif with various machismo action comic covers popular in 1950s America for each DLC title. The titles include Dead Living Zombies, an obviously zombie-themed adventure, Hours of Darkness, a Vietnam-style campaign, and Lost on Mars, featuring out-of-this-world cover art.

The season pass doesn’t end there however, it also comes with a downloadable copy of Far Cry 3 for next-generation consoles. Far Cry 3 is coming to Xbox One and PS4 this summer, but the season pass allows players to get it a month earlier.

Also released today was a story trailer for Far Cry 5, featuring Joseph Seed and his intentions with his Eden’s Glory cult. Learn more about the cult and your freedom fighters that stand against them.

Far Cry 5 will release on March 27, 2018, for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The season pass can be pre-ordered now from various online and physical stores.
