We recently wrote about Fast and Furious Takedown when it was just unveiled and after a mere few days, the wait is already over. The mega movie franchise lays now at your literal fingertips. The best news, it’s free! So, there’s no excuse not to at least try out the game and see if the arcade-action is to your liking.
Developed by Australian-based SMG Studio, Fast and Furious Takedown aims to deliver the heart-pounding adrenaline rush of its cinema ilk. The trailer certainly manages to get our heart rate up and with already over 100,000 downloads on mobile devices, so are a ton of gamers.
Of course, as a free-to-play title one can’t help but be a little cautious about the game balance. With a very respectable 4-Star rating on both the App Store and Google Play, we’re happy to report that Universal and SMG look to have created a solid mobile gaming experience.
It also helps that Fast and Furious Takedown is taking a fresh route of enabling an easier input method via one-thumb controls. Thankfully, no cluttered screen to imitate a traditional gamepad. Instead, we have a fast and easy way to drift and race our way to victory.
