Father of Final Fantasy Hironobu Sakaguchi Has a New Title in the Works

"The Father of Final Fantasy" AKA Hironobu Sakaguchi is obviously most well known for his creation of Final Fantasy. He's also the creative force behind  Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and Terra Battle since founding his studio Mistwalker.

In a multi-person interview with many developers at 4Gamer, Sakaguchi had little to say, but not because of the lack of news he had. He did tease a bit of future news with "I plan to announce a new title in 2017. Stay tuned!"

This most likely means he isn't quite ready to reveal it, but he and the team at Mistwalker have something in development. It is known that Mistwalker is working with Silicon Studio, the team behind the Bravely series. whether or not this is the title he was teasing at is unknown, but as more details unfold, they can be found at GameZone.
