Fatshark is giving 100,000 copies of ‘Lead and Gold’ for free

Some developers celebrate the success of a great game with big parties and announcements for DLC, Fatshark celebrates with parties AND with giving away one of their earlier games for free!

Swedish based developer Fatshark really struck gold with their latest game, Warhammer: End time – Vermintide, managing to sell 500,000 copies in six months without the help of any big sales. This success has opened up quite a few paths with what Fatshark can do both with Vermintide and whatever their future projects are.

Now Fatshark has decided to give a little something back to the fans and players who have helped in making Fatshark into the developer they are today. The developers are giving away 100,000 product keys for one of their earlier games, Lead and Gold – Gangs of the Wild West.

Lead and Gold is a multiplayer third person shooter which pitches team of players against each other in a sort of controlled chaos set in the wild west. Lead and Gold is also in many ways an early prototype of Vermintide so if you ever wondered how the synergy mechanics and team play evolved into what they are in Vermintide this is the time to find out.

The keys for Lead and Gold are limited, there are only 100,000 of them so hurry up and get yours! Click here and follow the instructions for your very own free game.

Also, go and check our GameZone exclusive interview with the CEO and co-founder of Fatshark, Martin Wahlund, where we talk about what the future holds for Fatshark, DLC, console versions of Vermintide, cross-play, and much more.
