From Software has released a batch of screenshots for Dark Souls 2's upcoming DLC The Crown of the Sunken King.
Due out on July 22, there's not much more of a wait before you can sink your teeth into this brand new content which, judging by the screenshots, will have no shortage death. The images show off a range of environments (like snow!), along with various monsters and traps that are just waiting for you to blindly encounter. Ah yes, get ready for hours upon hours of torturous death and frustration. Would you have it any other way?
The Crown of the Sunken King is the first installment in The Lost Crowns, a planned trilogy of additional content for Dark Souls 2. The next episode, Crown of the Old Iron King, will be released August 26th, followed by the final Crown of the Ivory King on September 24th.
