Feast your eyes on this Dark Souls 2: Into the Light comic

While I must shamefully admit that I’ve never been a comic book man, I will absolutely be getting Dark Souls II: Into the Light. I mean, my bias of loving absolutely everything Souls doesn’t even come into to play here. Just LOOK at the cover and teaser page below from Dark Souls' Facebook page. I want this, I want this now. Lots of the comments are claiming that the art reminds them of Berserk and there is no way I’m about to disagree with this.

Here’s the other thing to notice from that cover… does that shield look familiar to you? Mmhmm. That is one of the winners from the Dark Souls II shield competition, the submission was called “Disunion” and its right smack there on that bonfire resting Knight’s arm. I love it, such fan service. Why must we wait until March From Soft!? WHY!?

Ahem, the first portion of the comic is being digitally published on January 8th. Every week we’re going to be given two new pages from the comic on the Dark Souls Facebook. I’m so f@#$ing ready for this.

I can’t take this…
